Paola Furini

Hello, I’m Paola

I love words. The spoken, the heard, the read, the written and the translated. I believe that the root of my passion for my work lies here, in this combination of graphic signs that ultimately contain whole concepts, emotions and experiences.

JUSTranslations is the name of my Translation Studio, based in Viareggio (LU). I founded it in 2013 out of my passion for languages and the desire to create a direct connection between client and translator.

I deal with translations and transcreations from English into Italian, as well as copywriting in Italian

Put simply, my work is to help people and companies to

  • overcome language barriers
  • avoid problems caused by inaccurate translations
  • promote their activities in the Italian market.

My background

After graduating in Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Pisa in 2005 and having spent some time abroad, I worked in the communication field for local companies specialising in: hospitality, language training, event organisation and translation.

To hone my translation skills, I completed a specialisation course in legal translation at the University of Genoa in 2007.

Since then, I have gained experience as an in-house translator and Project Manager specialising in legal, tourism and website translations.

As one of my dreams was to run my own business and be my own boss, I decided to go freelance in 2013. In the same year I joined AITI, the Italian Association of Translators and Interpreters, as an associate member.

For over 15 years now, I’ve been able to turn my passion for languages and writing into a career.

Why choose me to be your translator?

  • Quality

  • Confidentiality

  • CONSTANT TRAINING

  • RESPECT OF DEADLINES

  • CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
